Rochester Design For The Birds!

Rochester's A3 Design has been included in Logo Lounge 5 with the logo for the American Falconry Conservancy, a national non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the art and practice of falconry. This is the fourth consecutive year the studio has been represented in the Logo Design annual.
 
When the Director of the AFC's Eastern Region, Jason Hausman, approached A3 Design with the project, tail feathers went up! The environmentally conscious and bird adoring design firm was ready to take flight. "At A3 Design, we give back to our community by working with organizations that the studio takes a personal interest in." says Amanda Altman, principal of the studio. "Once a quarter we identify an non-profit organization we want to work with. These projects give us an opportunity to give back with our talent and provides a lasting point of pride and camaraderie for our team." 
 
The design objective was to create an all-inclusive American falconry brand that improved the presence of the group online, in government, at local events and within the falconry community. A3 Design successfully met every goal with the new AFC brand design and has set up the organization's brand for growth. The team worked to provide the the group with an iconic image that would make a lasting, professional and credible impact immediately. Within a month of the brand launch, AFC's new plumage saw an incredible increase of unique inquiries from a typical 8 a month to over 50! They now boast a rapidly expanding membership nationwide with brand visuals that provides AFC with a point of pride for the current membership and the credibility to compete for membership with other non-profit organizations.
 
The Logo Lounge books have quickly become the best-selling series of design books in the Rockport line. Pulling from the abundant online community, the books publish over 2,000 new logos yearly from leading designers internationally. The encyclopedia of work has proven to be a valuable resource for the creative industry and sets the bar high with the quality of work that is chosen to be included.
